This week at Asturmadi a profesional will come to take some samples of our fire-rated doors that will be tested according to UL 10C method.
What does UL 10C mean?
“Standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies” is a fire testing method, apliccable to swing doors, including door frames with lights and panels, of different materials and types of construction, used to stop the fire from spreading.
The tests expose a specimen to a standard fire exposure controlled to achieve specified temperatures throughout a specified time period, followed by the application of a specified standard fire hose stream.
