In the event of fire in buildings, vehicles or means of transport, the fire resistance time of materials and product is the most critical variable and directly influences the safety of the occupants.
Fire-resistant products must allow structures to retain their minimum functions during the period required for the evacuation of people, even despite the extreme conditions of heat and pressure to which they are subjected.
The manufacturers of these products must evaluate their resistance, stability and insulation to fire according to the regulations applicable to each product and sector.
