Cable guides are used to facilitate electrical contact between the door panel and the door frame. They consist of a guide spring for routing the cables and a base that secures the guide to the door.
To install a cable gland:
1. Cut a rectangular hole measuring 265 x 25 mm, using the template, along the edge of the sheet approximately 400 mm from the bottom edge.
2. Run the cable through the door from the collar to the hole you drilled, leaving enough cable at each end to complete the installation later.
3. Insert the end of the cable through the hole in the base and secure the base to the edge of the door using 2 sheet-metal screws (included).
4. Thread the cable through the chrome spring and secure it to the base with 2 M4 screws (included).
5. Drill a 14-mm-diameter hole in the frame, 232 mm from the top of the template.
6. Thread the cable through it and screw the other end of the chrome spring to the door frame using 2 sheet-metal screws (included).
